Please read through this entire Blog; it has a lot of important competition details that are ABSOLUTELY essential to the entering of the contest. If you are disqualified because you didn't read the rules, that's your problem. ALL GUIDELINES POSSIBLY NEEDED ARE INCLUDED SO READ FIRST THEN ASK IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE QUESTIONS. (Warning: This is a long blog though)
Okay, this is just an early-posted Blog, I will probably update more tomorrow (no more competition guidelines, just an ordinary Blog...I may even use a whole new Blog number--stay tuned). (See Blog 43 for current competition stuff.) Blog 45 created.
Anyways, I wanted to inform you guys of the "New Year's Competition". I have already set it up--I have set "counters" (like the one on the bottom at the top of the Home page) around the site - two of them actually. They are both labeled "Competition Function" (though one of them doesn't have it for a title, but in the description). Basically, there is one that is less than 100 and one that is more than 100. All you have to do is tell me which page you found the one MORE than 100, tell me the EXACT digits (yes, the digits will change slightly over time, but I will have an idea of what the number is and as long as you're close enough, I will accept your answer as correct), and the NUMBER OF digits there are. Also, tell me which page you found the one LESS than 100, tell me the EXACT digits, and HOW MANY digits there are (the WHOLE thing...the number of digits is not very small *hinthint* ^^). PM me the answers (**PM ME so that no one else can see it), and EVERYONE in each of the Clans can participate...the more that participate, the more points your Clan will get. Also, each participating member will earn their Clan an additional 1 point. So if you add up all the points...each member can earn their Clan (at the most) 7 points. So this IS a big compeition. Please refrain from asking your Clanmates what the answers are, but you can as a last resort. Good luck. I will be holding this contest from Dec. 30, 2009 at 12:00 A.M. until Jan. 2nd, 2010 at 12:00 A.M. (that is, the night of Jan. 1st). And YES, I can track what time you sent me the PM...so yeah.
The winning team will be determined by adding all the points up earned from each respective Clan. The winning Clan's score will then be divided by two and that will be added to their current score. As a sort of consellation for the losing Clan, their score will be divided by three and then 7 points will be subtracted from that...and that is added to their current score. **All divided numerals will be rounded UP.
More help: If you don't know how to send me a PM, simply go to the members page, and click on Wenganator. CAUTION: There are two "Wenganator"s. You must click on the one that says he is from "UNITED STATES" If you happen to click the "site owner" one, and send me a PM, may not check this account at all unless creating blogs. So please, select the one that says I am a moderator, not the site owner.
Then after you get to the page, on the left sidebar, underneath the picture (which should be this shaped figure with a fireball), there is an action (under the "action" bar) called SEND A MESSAGE. Press that, and send me a PM. You don't really have to make it fancy, just make it work and readable.
Another notice: if you make the PM so unreadable or undistinguishable or give me too many answers, I may disqualify your whole thing as a whole. So please, do not try any games with me.
(By the way, this is a very fair contest because I have already calculated the possible point differences for winner/loser, so both sides will earn a pretty good amount of points, and the gap won't be IMPOSSIBLE to catch up on--there will be more events like this in the future. Also, I have sent an email blast to all the members/limited members/moderators on the site, so EVERYONE HAS BEEN WARNED.)
Also, I will be participating in this, since I am part of a Clan. Anyways, GOOD LUCK EVERYONE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR'S.
